    Stefanie and Tina have been friends since high school. They enjoy laughing, talking, and being creative together. Inspired by their dogs, Stefanie and Tina created the Travel Tails series to use with their students while focusing on literacy and character education.        

Stefanie Dunnigan

Stefanie Dunnigan earned a Master of Science in Education for Reading and Literacy and has been teaching elementary students for 23 years.  She is an Associate Member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. Stefanie lives in New Jersey with her husband, her son, and their dog, MacKenzie.  

Tina Traina

Tina Traina earned a Master of Education degree from Montclair State University and has been an elementary school teacher for over 23 years. She currently teaches Language Arts to 3rd graders. Tina is an Associate Member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. She has wonderful memories of growing up with her miniature schnauzer, Peppy. Tina lives in New Jersey with her husband, her daughter, and their two fur babies.
